I can't wait to try them out, Ellen -- being of Southern stock myself, I'll pretty much eat anything fried, including okra.Yea for more restaurant variety in Moscow!!!keelyFrom: gussie443 at hotmail.comTo: sslund at roadrunner.com; vision2020 at moscow.comDate: Fri, 11 May 2007 21:48:51 -0700Subject: Re: [Vision2020] VJ's (was RE: BBQ anyone?)
Sounds like something I'm definately going to check out. . . soon. Yup, I remember the hush puppies and fried okra at Smokehouse Charlies. Next time I see the Wright family down in Oregon I'll tell them that someone in Moscow besides me misses their hush puppies and fried okra. : )
I guess you could say I have a "thing" about family-owned food establishments.
