[Vision2020] Weitz is a 'civic terrorist'

Patricia,

I did want to thank you for your efforts at educating children. It is no doubt a noble profession. I help old ladies cross the street, so to speak, that is my job. And while the pay
is for the most part lousy, I do have to say it has its own rewards knowing that you are helping someone.

Yes, I am a jerk online, not intentionally to everyone, but I am unable to figure out how to smile on line, when I try, I just come across as a pompous ass. Many people on V2020 are mean to me and others, so I have for the most part, given up on being nice on this forum. People that know me as a person, know I am a nice guy, albeit, very flawed. Most the people on here don't know me in person, and few have met me more than 2 or 3 times.

I wish you the best of luck with your students, and I hope we can get this issue resolved so you can continue your activities. I just believe that we disagree on who is at fault. I think it is the MSD Administrations job to do things properly and legally. And I will not lie, that I do think that the MSD is over-funded and the property taxes make life difficult for many in our community.

Feel free to correct my writing any time, that is the only way to improve it. I could not even type 6 years ago, I didn't know how to turn a computer on or off 7 years ago.

  Best to you Patricia,

  Donovan

  Mr. Arnold,
You are correct about city's. I wrote in haste, and did not recheck. My bad. I also misspelled "importance." I do notice many errors in your writing, as well. None of us is perfect. However, I disagree with your statement. The cause of MSD in making the decision to cut back on expenses is directly related to Dr. Weitz. The effect is, we don't get to go to East City Park. To help curve a financial emergency you cut back on spending. Happens at my place all the time.
Tricia :-)

It was the MSD administration's decision not to allow your students to go to the park, it had nothing to do with Dr. Weitz.

  Best,

  Donovan

PS. I know I suck at proper English myself, but isn't it "city's" not "cities"?

  Dr. Weitz and others,
You have done a great disservice to your city. The citizens you are hurting most are our most vulnerable, our precious children, our future leaders. Thanks to you my second graders will not be able to celebrate their year of success at one of our cities beautiful parks, East City Park, for a fun picnic together one last time. That probably doesn't rate high on your scale of important, but to an eight year old it is way at the top.
Have a nice day.

My problem with his analysis is the assumption that there's any merit at all to Weitz's claim, and any cause whatsoever to doubt the integrity of MSD and the veracity of the levy information presented, the ballot offered, or the votes cast.

I have nothing but confidence in my school district, and nothing but contempt for those who would pile on and snort gleefully when it's faced with what can only be described as a crisis whose "collateral damage" is real, live children and the fine women and men who work with them.

I love Moscow's public schools, and I'm proud as hell of the people who work in them.
