[Vision2020] Weitz is a 'civic terrorist'

Just to give you an idea of how frugally the Moscow School District has been
spending its budget, here is a photo of Moscow High School (now the offices
of MSD), back in 1928 (roughly when Carl was playing 23 Skidoo with the
local flappers).

About the only noticeable change, since then, is that the trees are bigger
now. This is a school district scraping the bottom of the barrel, just to
keep what it's got.

Of course Mr. Schwaller's point, as stated, makes sense -- no decision is
"right" if someone "lies, cheats, steals, or handwaves to get there."

My problem with his analysis is the assumption that there's any merit at all
to Weitz's claim, and any cause whatsoever to doubt the integrity of MSD and
the veracity of the levy information presented, the ballot offered, or the
votes cast.

I have nothing but confidence in my school district, and nothing but
contempt for those who would pile on and snort gleefully when it's faced
with what can only be described as a crisis whose "collateral damage" is
real, live children and the fine women and men who work with them.

I love Moscow's public schools, and I'm proud as hell of the people who work
in them.
