All-

The USA is the largest arms dealer on the planet.  Selling the  
technology of
war is big business, and the USA is King.  Is it a surprise that  
profit is
being made off selling war-related technology, even if it does  
jeopardise US
security, or the security of our military in the battlefield?  Is the  
war in
Iraq really about freedom and democracy, or is it about business, as in
access to the fossil fuel resources of the Middle East, and limiting the
potential control of Iran, over these resources? As Keely said,  
"business is the elixir of the right."

The night vision goggle scandal is a footnote in the over all scheme of
control over resources and profiting off the business of war, a theme  
that
has been made clear by our culture's focus on superiority in waging  
warfare since WWII, a cornerstone of our current global dominance.

Expecting the business of war and the sale of war related technology  
to always coincide with national security is to claim that the free  
market
should be regulated by a socialist agenda dominated by the Pentagon.   
After the free market advocates have convinced the world that their  
ideology is
the best approach for the progress of humanity, why should anyone be
surprised when the unregulated free market approach is applied to  
military related technology?

O course, the meta-ideology of the cultural hegemonic agenda that  
justifies
our sense of empowerment that we should control resources globally, and
the political/economic future of the world, goes unexamined.  We have  
yet as
a culture to fully face the moral and spiritual implications of the
displacement of the native populations of North America, as we  
invaded and took control.  Why now should we honestly face the real  
agenda behind our goal to control the Middle East?

We are endowed, spiritually, economically, politically, to control  
the world according to our superior way of life.

Don't you agree?  If not, you do not exhibit suitable patriotism!
