Right To View" Bill (H248) Passes Idaho House 54-15
From Bryan Fischer, Executive Director of the Idaho Values Alliance:

In another win for the pro-life cause, H248, a bill that requires an
abortionist to give a pregnant women a look at an ultrasound picture of
her unborn baby, passed the Idaho house on Wednesday decisively, by a
54-15 count.

The bill, initiated by Right to Life of Idaho and Cornerstone
Institute, was sponsored by pro-life legislators Brent Crane and Lynn
Luker, who according to Jason Herring of Right to Life, did a
"masterful job in presenting and debating for the bill."

Democrats Branden Durst of Boise, Margaret Henbest of Boise, Mary Lou
Shepherd of Wallace, and James Ruchti of Pocatello voted for the bill,
as did pro-abortion Republican Bob Ring of Caldwell. Tom Trail of
Moscow was the lone Republican to vote against this bill and his
party's platform.

The bill now goes to the Senate State Affairs Committee, where it will
be heard next week. On the senate side, the bill is being sponsored by
Curt McKenzie and Lee Heinrich.

Why am I not surprised that Moscow’s Republican Representative would
vote like a Democrat?
