[Vision2020] Mardi Gras

I'm surprised that "Girls Gone Wild" (GGW) is still around. Last I heard
was that the creator of GGW was pending some criminal charges (something to
do with providing alcohol to, and snapping photos of, minors) and listed as
a defendant in a series of civil lawsuits.

I would avoid GGW like they were the plague.

safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, chocolate in one hand, a drink in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO. What a ride!'"

Get rid of Wet T Shirt night and Girls Gone Wild and that might happen.
Anyone have a petition we could sign and send to the Beach?

We just now got off the phone and was told the Moscow Mardi Gras Committee
has voted down any monetary help with the busses this year.

Now you tell me if these people aren't in it only for the money.

CJ's cares.

Come on people. If any of you really do care, get on the committee. Force
them to be accountable. Make Mardi Gras what it should be.

ORGANIZATION. . . COOPERATION. . . .COMMUNICATION.

And a nice public "Thank You" from the committee after the job is done.
Don't you think that's what the citizens expect. Otherwise, it looks a lot
like "gimmee your money and I'm going to laugh all the way to the bank". . .

And make it family friendly.

Thank you Keim!

They do not publish how much they distribute. Can I ask how much you
received? And when did you recieve your funds?

CJ's wrote "Does anybody on this list know if any Mardi Gras funds were

distributed in the last 2 years?"

Yes, I can vouch for the fact that they have disbursed money each of the

past two years (05-06). The charity I manage has received funding from

them.

Later,

Darrell

PS-And my hats off to CJ's for supporting the Humane

Society!
