[Vision2020] Maki Keeping Salary???

Call me cynical, but I'd guess that as long as Maki keeps attracting 
grant money they'll keep him at whatver price the market will bear. 
Ethics be damned. They are also very unlikely to fire him until 
Maki's grants run out as the UI  would likely have to repay the grant 
money as an unfulfilled contractual obligation.
