To set the record straight, I did not, NOT, "out" SD Gray...his wife did. I
made what I thought was a valid complaint and comment withOUT names - on
purpose. The people in that neighborhood also feel he let them down.
But if it makes you all feel better to beat up on me on this one point - go
for it. I still have a right to believe that he should have taken his job a
little more seriously - that of protecting the public from creeps like
Sitler - and he should have made it known at LEAST to the day care that
Sitler was there.
Again, it was NOT me that put Gray's name out there - it was his wife.
I have the HIGHEST regard for the MPD - the Sheriff's department has been
lacking in quality for years and people know it. (Anyone wonder what
happened to Jennifer McFarland? Now THERE was a good deputy.) And NO I am
not saying Gray is not a good SD...I'm just saying his abilities need to be
better evaluated. Period.
