Thank you for posting this, Mr. Basoa.
Normally I would casually read over a posting concerning a local book
signing to see if there is anything that catches my attention.
The two items that caught my attention, from your posting, concerned a
"local author" writing about "local happenings" (although fictional), much
like another local published author.
Curiosity got the better of me, so I googled "Alice Nau" and found
(refreshingly):

"Now eighty years old and counting. 'You can count on another book!' she
grins. 'I am about a third of the way through the writing of the sequel to
Aftermath.'"
You've got to love her attitude and spunk.
See you at BookPeople, Alice.
Seeya round town, Moscow.

Alice Nau, a self-published author from Deary, will be having a book
signing this coming saturday (July 28) at BookPeople from 10:00 a.m.
to noon.
The book, a novel, is called "Aftermath" takes place in Idaho and is
about life after a catastrophe strikes the northwest. This is
Alice's first book and she would love to have everyone drop by.
