Gee. Where to start . . . First, most people understand between the necessity of reporting and prosecuting crimes, especially violent felonies like rape, and see an urgency there that they don't in even the most gripping civil suits. Second, I don't know too many people who confuse the victim of a violent crime with a manipulative Machiavellian like Dr. Weitz, nor who would suggest that his legal right to take to court whomever he wishes, for reasons stemming from his own petulance, is somehow inherently noble and a betterment to society.Third, none of this really ought to be necessary to write. But you gotta hope, I guess.keely"And these women that you spit on as they try to change their worlds/Are immune to your consultations . . . they're quite aware of what they're going through"(With apologies to David Bowie)Date: Thu, 12 Jul 2007 17:55:47 -0700From: donovanjarnold2005 at yahoo.comSubject: Re: [Vision2020] Conciliation PetitionTo: kjajmix1 at msn.com; lfalen at turbonet.com; vision2020 at moscow.comKeely writes, "it was Gerry Weitz who dragged this into court, and it is Gerry Weitz who is responsible for the litigation" So according to Keely's logic, if a woman is raped and that woman drags him into court, it is her fault for the litigation, not the rapist? Seems to me, when the law is broken, it is the fault of those that broke the law for the litigation, not the ones that try to bring it to justice. If MSD broke the law, they should be held accountable. MSD is being sued because of their actions, not Dr. Weitz. Anyone in the public has the right to sue and for the same reasons as Gerry. It is just that Gerry is the only with enough balls and resources to do what is right. It is obvious why MSD doesn't want to hold an election. They know they don't have the
public support because they have not done a bang up job with all the money they have taken from the public. How about a petition asking that people not hold government agencies and the electorate hostage with fits of pique and petulance?keely"And these women that you spit on as they try to change their worlds/Are immune to your consultations . . . they're quite aware of what they're going through"(With apologies to David Bowie) Date: Wed, 11 Jul 2007 10:02:29 -0700From: lfalen at turbonet.comTo: vision2020 at moscow.comSubject: [Vision2020] Conciliation PetitionI am not in the Moscow School district, but I am interested in the MSD.
