Mark,
Thanks for point that out.
All this time I thought I may be using it incorrectly.
I will try to remember that!
Doug!
Below are some usage for the term Ptuz:
1. putz Literally, vulgar slang for penis, not to be used lightly. More
offensive than the schmuck, which can be used affectionately or
teasingly. Rarely used to describe the member, schmuck does that.
What a putz! Used the same as What an asshole!
2. putz (n) a stupid, ignorant person; someone who doesn't pay
attention to anything going on; one who makes stupid remarks
**bumps into a pole on the sidewalk, then a person, keeps going** J:
what a putz! didn't he see me here??"
3. putz Used also to describe someone who is taking their time in a
lazy manner. This is akin to saying that someone was lazy for an
undefined period of time (see putzing, putzes, or putzed).
Joe was a putz with his computer.
Chuck putzes in his office.
Matt putzed on the golf course all day.
4. Putz Putz technically means fool or jerk. Vulgarly it means penis.
In german it is Aufputz which means 'to clean'
He's a putz... ie... He's a jerk
He has/is a putz... ie... He has/is a penis
5. Putz A "putz" is yiddish (derogatory) for prick.
Oh, don't be such a putz!
6. putz A putz is a numbnuts who hasn't a clue that s/he is so so so
very dumb or clueless. A true putz is not only stupid or completely
'out of it', but s/he is also aggressive or combative about his/her
totally inept decision-making.
Mike and Louise are such putzes. Wow, they just keep compounding their
previous errors and dumb moves with even worse ones!
7. putz 1. the penis 2. a stupid or obnoxious person
You little putz! Who do you think you are?
8. putz someone who is retarded
someone who leeches off thier son inlaw
someone who says they love their little truck
Bill is such a putz.
Bill likes to putz around all day at work.
9. putz stupid acting person.
you are a putz head.
10. putz Jewish term for the foreskin or prepuce.
A term of contempt when used to describe a person. i.e.
Superfluous to requirements, Useless, Unnecessary
Fulfils no purpose, A waste of space
He forgot his anniversary!, what a complete putz.
11. putz A great baseball pitcher. Pronounced "Poots"
Joe is a good closer, but he's no putz.
12. putz A small town in southern Taiwan, known as Putzu in Mandarin
but written as Putz in English on several highway road signs.
Putz General Hospital is how the English language sign on a website
spells it.
13. putz Term Jews use to explain ignorant ass holes or penises.
Rabbi Greenberg: That dude over there is a putz.
14. putz Radio host Rush Limbaugh.
Why do you listen to that old putz?
15. putz In Jewish golf, when you get on the greens you putz! If you
miss, you are putzing around.
I'll putz for an eagle, but I wouldn't walk a mile for a camel.
16. putz Tami, she just can't help herself.
Tami the putz is such a putz.

As someone who grew up speaking Yiddish in a Jewish neighborhood, watch
your mouth. Obscenely cursing in a language other than English is still
obscenely cursing.
