Keely,

Several things. Please give us some facts so that we can differentiate
between the truth and your lies.

1) Please give the date and time that "these" imprecatory prayers were
ever given for the "destruction" of the public schools. The only
prayers I ever heard were for it's reformation, not it's destruction.
So please do give us some examples.

2) At what point in time did the Moscow Public School system become
this community's "hope" and savior? Was it before you were a member of
the board or later?

lemeno, Doug!

No, Tony, I leave it up to Kerry to decide if she's unfortunately
ill-informed as to the needs of public schools, as many are in Moscow,
or if
she's blinded by hatred for public schools, as many are in Moscow. I
hope
that however she votes, she does so after studying the issue clearly.
If
she has children in the district, she must not be praying imprecatory
prayers against public schools, so I'm encouraged. There are enough
folks
out there praying for their destruction.

The real battle is not between those who support this or any other levy
and
those who don't. That may epitomize some of the conflicts, but the
real war
is between those who stand for the hope and promise that public
education
offers and those who despise that hope and promise -- and do so in the
name
of God.

It would seem that those so blinded by hate and religious fervor ought
not
take offense when I point out their seething devotion to their cause.

keely
