Why only these? Why not all of them?

So, Chas's response is along the lines of:
"We've ignored these veterans this long. Why not forget about them
altogether? I mean it's not like 2007 is an election year."
It is called ACCOUNTABILITY, Chas.
Your reference to my "wasted postage" and my "feeling better for having
demonstrated patriotism",
I have been actively involved in accounting for our forgotten veterans since
my retirement from the Army in 1969. More recently, in 1991 I and some
friends dropped pre-fab coffins on Main Street near the approach to the
Monroe Street Bridge at 8 AM on a Monday morning in Spokane while
distributing leaflets. Most of those friends are gone now, so I signed on
with Operation Just Cause, a second generation of the same movement.
Chas: At one time I actually felt that you had heart, that you were
actually concerned about things. You are nothing more than a gasp of hot
air that serves no useful purpose.
Your comments cut very, very deeply.
Although you seriously owe me an apology, I doubt that I will hear one from
you. After all, there is nothing for you to personally gain by it.

I disagree, Chas.
Cases may grow cold, and bodies of Idaho's sons may never be accounted for.
That's the tragedy. Asking questions and expecting answers seems a more
than reasonable response, though, and I'm puzzled by yours.
I don't think Tom "wasted postage," nor do I think his questions were just a
unique form of displaying patriotism. I think Tom asked legitimate -- and
possibly unanswerable -- questions of the people who have been chosen to
represent him in Congress and in the State Capitol. That they haven't
responded with clear information and intriguing leads is not surprising;
that they haven't answered at all is disappointing, to say the least.

I'm sorry, Tom, but I wouldn't have responded, either. We don't know
where Judge Joseph Crater is, and he disappeared within the United
States. It is called a "cold case." What do you expect Otter, Craig,
Crapo, Simpson, Sali, et al, to have done? Should they have sent you
a placating letter filled with empty promises? Indeed, what was the
point of your wasted postage? Presumably, you feel better for having
demonstrated patriotism, but did it serve any other purpose?
