[Vision2020] The Dougs et al.

You probably have a point, Chas. Ralph has never shown contempt to
individuals, and I don't think his belief system, as he would define it,
displays contempt -- a deeply rooted hatred for something, as I define it.
I think I meant that he is very obviously not convinced, staunchly so, of
the truth claims of Christianity. That said, I think he likely doesn't
believe that "truth claims" have anything to do with religious or spiritual
devotion. I disagree, but I do not think that Ralph's comments show
contempt for me or for anyone who practices my faith.

Thanks for the word of caution about my choice of words, Chas.

Keely, I hate to disagree with you, but I'm going to have to, here. I
equate derision with contempt, and Ralph Nielsen has never been
contemptuous of Christianity, at least not that he has displayed on
Vision2020. Truthfully, for someone who is a disbeliever, I find
Ralph exceedingly respectful.

If we had been talking about Art Deco, I might agree (sorry to drag
you into this, Art). I acknowledge that I am sometimes contemptuous
of Christianity (though not necessarily of Christians), but I don't
think that Ralph is.

What do you say, Ralph? Are you contemptuous/derisive of
Christianity, anti-theistic (which describes me), or something else
altogether?

Chas
