Yesterday, local residents, Geoff Pritchard and Rich Wekerle, conducted an
hour-long
interview with activist, Kathy Kelly, which will be broadcast Sunday (Feb
11) on
KRFP from 3:00 to 4:00 - the second hour of the PPC's Peace Radio show.
Kathy talked about her long history as a peace activist, her recent
2-month-long visit to Jordan where she lived with Iraqi refugees, and
her recent arrest in Senator John McCain's office. She also spoke
of both the courage and fear associated with carrying out actions of civil
disobedience. Rich met Kathy in 2003, when both of them were arrested
at the School of the Americas protest at Ft. Benning, Georgia.

The first hour, from 2:00 to 3:00, of Peace Radio will be children's
programming
produced by Miriam Kent, and will include music, poetry, and story.

KRFP can be accessed by streaming audio on their website
http://www.radiofreemoscow.com/ or on 92.5 fm.
