If I learned anything well it was due to the diligence and patience of Mothers and Sisters Incarnation, Ursula, Damien, David, Margaret, Finbar and other Ursuline's whose names escape me. Lord rest their souls, they taught me that protestants were to be generally avoided to the greatest extent practical. I don't remember their mentioning Doug specifically but I doubt he was granted special dispensation.
The prayer for the intolerestas you cite doesn't sound particularly imprecatory to me. Maybe you and your like minded comrades should get together and forge a consistent rant. Everyone knows that it's much more effective if you all bleat off of the same page of the same choir book.

Nope....no one can nor will ever "apologize" for me. This is more of an example of how Doug teaches - "They're wrong and should know it, but since they don't and we do know it, we'll be sorry on their behalf." This is given from the pulpit almost every Sunday...in the form of "prayer" for the intolerestas and other "wanders from the truth".

Aah, you have reverted back to your normally confused state. I think that comparing Wilson to Jones is just as lame as your comparison to Koresh. A weak argument, inflated to grotesque proportions, is still a weak argument. It was the intellectual whirlwind that is hanson, your kindred, who initially brought Jones into this thread. Noting the similarity between your Koresh analogy and the dim Jones comparison might well have tipped you to the fact that I was not going to be anywhere in the mix. Don't worry, no apology required.
