Fire officials fail to determine official cause of Hahn Rental fire

Moscow Volunteer Fire Department officials have decided they cannot
determine the cause of a Nov. 28 fire that gutted the Hahn Rental Center
building on Main Street.

 

Fire Marshal Joe Williams said arson has been ruled out, but "there's
nothing that we can say officially that started the fire."

 

Williams said no one will be able to enter the building until a
structural engineer says it's safe. The building likely will be torn
down.

 

The rental center remains open for business. It is operating out of an
office trailer and will rent equipment that was not damaged in the fire.
