The next few weeks should prove to be most interesting.

Dubya's idea of a new attorney general will be going through confirmation
hearings while the White House presents their interpretation of General
Patreus' evaluation of the Iraq War, while Fred Thompson is out schmoozing
Karl Rove.

But, you know what the BIG question on the network news will be?  In just
which rehab center will Lindsay Lohan register; the four-star "resort"
center in Utah or the rehab "party palace" in Hilton's Head after she
returns from her festival cruise in the Caribbean?

But that's the beauty of it for the Republicans: For at least a few  
days, the talk is ALL about Larry Craig and nobody's talking about  
the mess and desecration brought upon this country (and others) by  
our currents "leaders".
