Well, I have had enough.  Mr. Hansen, et.al. have only engaged in the ridiculing that he supposedly rejects.

I am reminded why I don't "do" chats or bulletin boards.

I had hoped to find a reasonable discussion of the issues facing Moscow, but I think that is lacking.  What I have found is folks who assume the Christ Church folks are ALWAYS wrong and always promoting their agenda.  And I have heard Christ Church folk doing the same in return.  I have been convicted of being "Doug Wilson in disguise" - and I appreciate the single apology I received.  My sense is that Mr. Wilson has no need to "anonymize" his presence!

Frankly, wading through the hate has increased my natural tendency toward depression.  While Dr. Boughton has not increased my Prozac - I think it behooves me to absent myself from this list.  I can only hope that the last month is atypical.

In conclusion, I would hold forth the definition of "community"

I would ask - in light of this month's posts - what IS the "common and historical heritage"?

I regret I will not see the response, since I feel the need to absent myself from this cesspool of hate and distrust.

In closing allow me to say:  We ARE all in this community together - whether we like it or not.  And I would encourage each human to treat other humans with respect and dignity - that is, the way we each wish to be treated.
