[Vision2020] Gonzales resigning

NBC reports this morning that Alberto Gonzales  tendered his resignation  as AG  on Friday; Bush  initially refused to accept it but reluctantly  did on  Sunday.

The Deputy AG just resigned last month, and the interim AG will be Paul Clement from the AG's office.

The White House Chief of Staff, Josh Bolton, reportedly has said that any Bush admin higher-ups not willing to commit through 2008 need to resign by Labor Day.  Please, Lord, let it be Cheney next.
