NBC reports this morning that Alberto Gonzales tendered his resignation as AG on Friday; Bush initially refused to accept it but reluctantly did on Sunday.<br><br>The Deputy AG just resigned last month, and the interim AG will be Paul Clement from the AG's office.<br><br>The White House Chief of Staff, Josh Bolton, reportedly has said that any Bush admin higher-ups not willing to commit through 2008 need to resign by Labor Day.
