CITY OF MOSCOW 

2007 ARBOR DAY CEREMONY

 

The Moscow community will celebrate Arbor Day with a tree planting
ceremony at Lola Clyde Park at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 27th.  The
Moscow Tree Commission invites the public to attend the event and help
plant a baldcypress tree and a Chinese chestnut grove at the park.  A
representative of the Idaho Department of Lands will present Mayor Nancy
Chaney with a 2006 Tree City USA award.  Volunteers and staff from the
neighboring Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute will also be
participating.  Free sugar maple seedlings will be available.  Lola
Clyde Park is located at the corner of North Polk Extension and Rodeo
