Tony,

That wasn't a personal shot at you.  It was a shot at those 
fundamentalists that do come out with that sort of crap.  Really, I 
wasn't trying to one-up anybody.  I just thought it was interesting that 
both sides can be painted by the brush of "self-congratulatory moral 
posturing".  I'd never thought that the idea of tolerance could be 
looked at in that way.  Maybe both sides have more in common than they 
think.
