Why do we not consider the Proverbs as absolutes so that we do not 
derive doctrine from them? Is it because they are not in red letters, 
or not written by Paul?

When we are to love our neighbor as our self, what may that look like? 
An example could be of a neighbor who spent Wed evenings using his 
Godly Christian wife as a punching bag and then on Friday wanting to 
kiss and makeup and act like husband and wife… How should I love this 
neighbor? Should I send flowers or cook a meal or wash their car 
anonymously?

I really want to know your opinion.
