[Vision2020] Donovan: Liar, Idiot, or both?

I can only repeat what has been said in the past.

There are times, especially a few years ago, when Donovan has demonstrated 
intelligence, wit, fairness, and a fundamental ability to reason in a not 
disingenuous manner.  Even now, that ability sometimes peeks out, then 
disappears very quickly.

For one, I am sorry that Donovan's great talents have turned to waste.  I do 
not know what has happened in his life to make his only apparent pleasure 
that of attacking others and then defending those attacks in manner 
consistent with the tactics of a win-at-any-cost high school debate team or 
those of the soulless, voracious Christless Church Cult.

I also hope that somehow, hopefully and mostly through his own efforts, his 
life can be changed so that the toxins that pollute it now will be expelled 
and replaced with the elixir of joy.

If that happens, then we would hope to see the more talented Donovan to 
reappear regardless of the positions he espouses.  Donovan's talents before 
his personal catastrophes (whatever they were) greatly exceed those of the 
unintellectual sludge he associates with -- Ed Iverson, Dale Courtney, the 
portly Doug Twins of the cult, etc.  It is a shame that Donovan has chosen 
to associate with, at least tactics-wise, this posse of misfits, hypocrites, 
and liars.

Let's all hope that Donovan can somehow return to being a happy, rational 
being.  If nothing else, it would certainly improve his employment prospects 
on the Palouse and his prospects of making and retaining friends.
