[Vision2020] Safety Concerns

A. A child is LESS likely to be playing in the street when a car is coming
than to be climbing on a bunch of pipes that are sitting in an open field
unsecured and somewhat shaky.
B. The objects are an open invitation to children to climb them and you
know it. How many times as a child did you go into an area that was not as
safe as it should have been just because it was there? That's called being
a child. Its gonna happen and did. Thankfully, no one was hurt but THAT
would have happened sooner or later as well.
C. As concerned citizens, don't you think it would be better to AVOID an
accident waiting to happen then sit and watch it happen?
As responsible adults dealing in an area where children are in large
numbers, it is behooving of them to make sure things are tight and secure.
Now, if they don't care about the city's children much less about a possible
law suite over some child getting injured, then I can see them letting it
go. BUT, since the site was secured and posted, it seems to me they
recognized the potential danger and moved to remedy the situation. For
that, at least, they should be appreciated.
