[Vision2020] Foley's Former Chief Of Staff Testifies

Another GOP lawmaker, Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite of Florida, said she conducted
her own investigation two weeks ago and learned that Foley "showed up at the
page dorm one night inebriated." Brown-Waite has not released any details.

Fordham resigned last week as chief of staff to Rep. Tom Reynolds, R-New
York, after ABC News reported that he offered the network an exclusive on
Foley's resignation if it agreed not to air transcripts of the most explicit
messages.

If the above statements are true, ABC News is limiting the potential
political damage from making public Foley's "most explicit messages."  We're
not getting the whole truth about Foley's communications with pages, it
appears.

It also appears many Republicans are facing the facts that there was a cover
up by Republicans in the Foley case, and that attempts to blame Democrats
for an unfair politically motivated smear campaign are not gaining much
traction.
