[Vision2020] Debate or Coward?

To which Elitists do you refer, Donovan? The ones exemplified by the Kirk? These analogies
seem to fit their rhetoric better than anyone I know..
The ones who were forced to wear (not *were*--turn on your dictionary) a star were indeed of a
different religion than the majority in power---they were, in fact, members of a religion held in
contempt by the Kirk. And the city has already changed zoning rules in favor of the Kirk, letting
them off the hook several times in recent history...They won't soon be relegated to a small
area. This is the same Kirk which advocates slavery for non-believers and exile for those not
agreeing with them about sexual orientation (by the way, remember those who were forced in
your ridiculous comparison to wear a triangle? You would have been in that number).
You are getting yourself in over the point on your pinhead. Stop it. About the time you start
calling concerned citizens jackbooted Nazis you lose your last shred of dignity, you nasty little
excuse for a human being.
You seem to feel free to insult all and sundry, slander those who practice the law, make
accusations of bullying about those who freely give time to assist, and then pull out this sort of
analogy as the raspberry on the pile of crap. Then, if anyone responds to refute your ill-
informed opinion, they too are accused of things they did not do. What is wrong with you,
besides the obvious stupity and self-loathing? And don't blame it on another
mental/physical/psychological disorder. This is plain and simply over-the-top, vicious, repulsive
behavior, and you make the choice to do it. Begin to act responsibly for a change. Get a damn
grip before someone sues your pathetic panties off...
Indeed, we (royal We, here) are tired of it. We are tired of Donovan's psuedo-intellectual know-
it-all-ism, slander, and pandering. We are also tired of the NSA boys and their self-
congratulatory giggle fest. We are tired of Doug Ferris and his lame-o spouting, Sushipushy's
pretend Biblical scholarship, and yes, JFords multiple postings. We are tired of Tony
Simpson's weenie wagging, Dick Sherwin's xenophobia, the rampant homophobia of many
posters, and the either-or stance of many many posters. We are even tired of some on our own
side of the debate!
This is, however, an unmoderated and public forum. Anyone may say anything. And anyone
may say anything back. On the other hand, doing so opens one to consequences. Donovan,
by your own postings, I do not assume you have piles of money in your legal defense fund.
You have, however, pissed off a lot of attorneys. Bet someone could sue you without spending
much money, while you will be losing what little you have?

Maybe the Elitists in our town can convince the city council to force
every member of Christ Church to were a mark on their sleeve
identifying their religion. Say, how about a giant yellow star on the
arm? Anyone that doesn't wear one will be thrown in jail for violating
the law.
Then we can petition the city council to change the zoning laws so
all they are in just a few places in town.
Finally, since all the people wearing the stars are guilty of
violating the law or not paying taxes we can build some labor camps
and put them in there to work off the taxes that they owe.
How about it Rose, Keely, Tom, Wayne, and especially you Jackie?
Best,
_DJA

disgusted with questions about which church someone goes

to another!! It is none of our business!! It could very
well be religious persecution which is what most of you
seem to be about!!

Gary,
I have no idea what you are talking about, and you certainly have
not addressed the content of my note to Doug or my previous note to
you. All I see here is slanderous smear, and intentional
conflating of different people and different problems. I am simply
writing this for the record since it appears you do not wish to
have any rational dialog with me, as has been the case for some time
now. Also for the record: in my note to Farris I referenced not
only a specific topic of debate, but a specific debate that was
planned to be published in Credenda. The other reference was with
respect to my challenges to Wilson on his web site; these
challenges were specific to Brian McLaren.
If you would like to discuss anything further I would appreciate you
answering my question to you: of what religion are you.
Thank you
Michael Metzler
