This is untrue. Calvin called, specifically, for beheading. Consider
his correspondence with Guillaume Farel.

This is nonsense, Doug. He is hardly the only one with bloodied hands
over Servetus' death, but he had been calling for Servetus' execution
for a decade before it occurred. The fact that he proposed
decapitation as a more proper remedy than burning is a semantic issue
that was, I imagine, of little interest to Servetus.

Perhaps I am unclear on my theology, but exactly which book of the New
Testament was written by John Calvin?
