The Idaho Nonprofit Development Center (INDC)
announces that a Standards for Excellence Clinic for
nonprofit
organizations will be held November 17, 2006 from
9:00am - 1:00pm at the Business Technology Incubator
in Moscow. This clinic will cover the ethics and best
management practices of Human Resources,
Financial and Legal.

Donors expect nonprofit organizations to perform at a
higher level of efficiency than ever before. They want
to know
that the groups they fund use their money effectively
and efficiently. The Standards for Excellence is an
ethics and
accountability code designed for the nonprofit sector.
The Standards exceed minimum legal requirements and
set a high
benchmark for how well managed and responsibly
governed nonprofits should operate. Organizations that
implement the
Standards for Excellence are better able to win the
confidence of donors.

See attached registration form! Cost is $95 per clinic
for two people per organization to attend. Discounts
are
available for qualifying organizations thanks to a
grant from Idaho Community Foundation Statewide
Greatest Need
Fund. Advance registration is required. The remaining
two half day clinics will be offered on December 15.
