I'll try:

Blog and Mablog is a take off on the Biblical "Gog and Magog," the 
archetypical anti-God king and his kingdom.  Which, if you think about it, 
is a bit odd as a moniker for a pastoral blog.  On the other hand . . .

I know it's not your site, but what is 'Mablog?'  I know what 'blog' means,
but am always puzzled by that other word.
