[Vision2020] Iraq's My Lai Massacre

No, I was pointing out what I view as a fallacy in Doug's argument. He
wrote

'Really Mr Gier. When was the last time we had any bombs go off in a major
city? I count 4 1/2 years and counting.'

If this is a justification for the war in Iraq, if invading that country
that had nothing to do with 9/11 is supposed to explain the lack of
explosions here, then why didn't it work for the UK or Spain, who also had
troops in Iraq at that time?

I don't minimize killing civilians here, there, or in Iraq.

So you don't go jumping to any other unqualified conclusions, I don't think
invading Iraq makes us safer, and I despise the 'Better fighting them there
than here' argument, which I think is a big steaming pile of crap. I think
that absolutely minimizes the lives of the people 'there,' who had nothing
to do with 9/11.
