Keely,
I can't imagine why you never got a diamond? But unfortunately, you are still not excused from benefiting from child labor if have used any products made using a diamond;
including cutting tools, the polishing of hard metal, video discs, and laboratory instruments.
Are you going to tell me you don't have a car, video disc, or have any windows?
Even if you were the only person in the United States that didn't benefit from the use of the diamond, bonded child labor is also used in the creation of anything used with cocoa, coffee, cotton, jasmine, palm oil, rubber, sisal, sugar cane, tea, and vanilla extract. That includes your morning cup of coffee, and the tires on your car. I won't get into where the money for the gas you put in your automobile goes.
We are still waiting for your evidence of your claim that Wal-Mart uses bonded child labor, as does the other things you purchase and companies you buy from do?
Regards,

Keely,
I was aware of your claims that Wal-Mart was paving the entire Earth,
wiping out jobs, depleting the ozone, generating crime in bad
neighborhoods, increasing traffic, reducing the minimum wage, increasing
poverty, leveling all trees, promoting terrorism, polluting our oceans,
destroying family values, eroding the moral fabric of society, and as
recently discovered, sucking up all the fresh drinking water on the
Palouse. However, now you are telling me that Wal-Mart is using free and
cheap child labor? Any links to these claims?
Here I always thought that the screaming children at Wal-Mart were the
children of customers, not the stock boys.
Tell me Keely, are the children that Wal-Mart employs older or
younger then the Indian children used to shine and polish the diamonds in
your ring?
Are they younger or older then the African children drugged to
fight wars for the rich to gain or maintain control of the diamond mines?
Are they younger or older then the children that pick the beans
for your coffee or coco?
Are they younger or older than the ones used to make the rubber
in your tires and household goods?
Regards,
DJA

want to take advantage of cheap and free child
labor now, you can just shop at Wal-Mart.

Kai,
Let's think about this for moment. We are having to pay as much as 33%
more in taxes while our children suffer lower test scores and have great
difficulty academically compared to other children in first world
countries; all so that a minority group of people can take advantage of
cheap and free child labor?
Humm, that doesn't seem like a compelling argument.
Best Regard,

Since this is an agricultural area. What will farmers do without the summer

Ask yourselves, "are our schools being utilized to
their fullest potential?"
All the politicians that claim they are pro education and who
also care about the tax payers is going to be the politician that gets my
vote because he/she came up with a program that gets all the schools on a
12 month, year round system without having to raise taxes. We already have
billions invested in the infrastructure (schools) that is not used year
round with the present school system. It is time we use said infrastructure
year round to gain the full use of our taxed investment. It is not 1859
anymore. It is 2006. Lets start educating our youth like it is 2006 so
that our students can compete in the global economy.
