When i received this message from myself on V2020, it was a mess of code. I'm hoping this
was not the case for everyone else, but in the interest of clarity, I'm resending it without any
potential problem punctuation. Someone, let me know if my messages all are in code insftead
of text? That could explain the problems DJA and ToeKnee have understanding my
messages....

Several of the fair-minded and reasonable folks on this forum have tried to clarify for Tony the
difference between silencing someone and deciding, on an individual level, they are not worth
listening or responding to.

Let me be very clear.

I have spent an inordinate amount of time working with court ordered juvenile delinquents. Like
Tony, they were often bright. And, like Tony, they were foul mouthed, vicious, had no verbal
boundaries, loved to provoke others, and when challenged they generally shrieked ---You are
violating my rights!! You can't stop listening to me!!--.

Since I have no control over Tony, he is free to shriek his fool head off. I, on the other hand, am
free to bozo filter him while imagining him in a locked isolation room, urinating in the corner,
throwing feces on the wall, and shouting that nobody pays attention to him even though he is
thoughtful and charming....

I filtered Donovan for exactly the same reason; though Donavan on a good day is capable of
decency and thought, he too has no idea how far is too far. I filtered Ed and Dick because I
just can't listen to any more phobic self-referencing dudes. They make me tired, and it does
nothing, zero, zip, nada, nil to try discourse with folks who can't input new data.

Mostly, I don't post to V2020. Sometimes, however, some troglodite just pushes me too far.
The covers on my buttons are frayed, and they can only be pushed so long and so hard. I
still find it useful to read most posts, sometimes especially from those with whom I sincerely
disagree. Those folks have often provided me with new info, and I have been known to change
an opinion or three in my longish life.

It's still good to be able to put in those earplugs when the kiddies are embarking on a rant....
Annoying brats remain brats until they finally figure it out, regardless of age. Some never do.
