I accept and understand that you consider homosexuality deviant and
maladjusted. I'm not interested in convincing you otherwise. We are
all entitled to our opinions, however strenuously we might disagree.

And I'm confused how the homosexual movement could possibly contrive
to "usurp" a man and woman's right to marry. I'm going to generously
deconstruct here; are you claiming that the homosexual movement wants
to seize and take control of the institution of marriage? Homosexuals
don't want to prevent straight persons from marrying, if that is your
fear. They merely desire (though this desire is not universal) that
the institution be made available to them. Stable your repugnance for
the moment. Now answer me this: what possible harm could it do to
extend marriage to homosexual couples?
Please answer. I sincerely want to understand your viewpoint.
