I'll tell you what, Ed: I'll admit my errors in grammar if you admit your errors in reasoning. Deal?

Hey Joe,
Seriously, logic was the easiest, and most fun, class--hands down--that I took in college--perhaps because it was a beginning class? I took the class online, spent about 1/2 an hour a week on coursework, and passed with a perfect score. It was through BBCC, WA online. Anyway, the subject continues to fascinate me, and I could seriously use a little boning up before I take the LSAT. I appreciate your kind offer, though--and would graciously accept if I lived closer to Pullman. Good thing the proper use of logic isn't premised on perfect grammar? or is it? I was going to tear apart your last two sentences...but why?
Have a great day,
--Ed

How is Tom's example an "absurd interpretation" of your generalization? Do you know what a generalization is? Do you know what a counterexample to a generalization is? Wouldn't it be better to realize that your generalization was absurd, given Tom's counterexample?
I'm teaching a logic class at WSU this summer. I'll let you sit in the class, free of charge! I think it would be in the universities best interest to do so.

I knew some absurd interpretation of my generalization would surface...

Sure signs of a feminist
1) Signs her name in lowercase
2) Uses an initial only when signing her name
Note: many other clues exist, and are readily available to the sentient
