[Vision2020] comp plan (was: Unclear P & Z Notice)

Wayne, it doesn't serve you particularly well to come off so dense. It's not 
a "far reaching knowledge claim." It's not a "platitude." It's a mangled 
quote by R. W. Emerson that has been abused on this list before. I'm pretty 
sure that most everyone picked up on that and how it related to Mr. 
Carscallen's remarks even if they don't necessarily agree. But just for the 
sake of discussion how does one provide "clear and cogent evidence for the 
truth" of any dead poet/philosophers remarks? And while your at it, why 
don't you spell out my "world view." Having read a couple dozen e-mails to a 
local discussion board, I'm sure the darkest recesses of my soul must be 
laid bare  to a fellow of your limitless acuity. I'm sure the others on this 
list would benefit greatly from knowing just what type of scoundrel they 
have in their midst. Plus my beautiful wife could use a chuckle.
