[Vision2020] mideast deja vu, again

Apparently Bush can recognize flaws in the Iranian electoral system, though
not in the Egyptian system; therefore Iran's election was bad, while Egypt's
was good.
Seymour Hersch was warning of this last year, and he's on the money again.
If the government recognizes we may not have enough soldiers for Iran,
they'll try to make up for it by bombing more than in Iraq, or perhaps by
skipping an invasion and bombing suspected Iranian nuclear sites, even
though those are close to civilian populations.
Remember, Freedom is on the march.

>Bush has just released the second national security report of his
>presidency. The first in 2002 set the stage for the invasion of Iraq by

>This new second report (see the article buried on page 5A of the Lewiston

> Bush now says it is Iran that has WMD capability.
>As Bush is now preparing the American people for another war (with Iran,
>this time), I have a few questions:
>
>1. is this really a problem with spelling? Did he mean Iran the first
>time, but it was mis-spelled Iraq?
>2. did Bush consider (given the failure of the war in both Iraq and
>Afganistan) that he might have a small credibility problem, not to mention
>a lack of money to spend and soldiers willing to die?
>3. did Bush remember that the government of Iran was democratically elected
>and has the strong support of the people of Iran?
