Good Morning Doug Farris,

It is kind of you to acknowledge my long-standing concern about the
ill-effects (on both spouses) of patriarchy.

When we changed internet providers we needed a new email address.  Prior
to switching to Clearwater Power's Wild Blue satellite service I was
content to use an email address that contained only my husband's name. 
But now my eyes have been opened.  Words can not express the power I feel
seeing my name on an email address.  This seemingly insignificant event
has encouraged me to believe that I could actually hold an opinion that
formed in my brain and not my husband's. I could actually live like an
autonomous adult; speaking, writing and acting without the mind-crippling
and soul-destroying notion that my "head" was responsible not only for his
own successes and failures but mine as well.

What on earth will happen with an outspoken, in-your-face,
draw-a-line-in-the-sand, Rose Huskey addressing issues in this community?
