Well.....  The first two matches of the 16-team knockout round have been 
decided.  Wait for it, WAIT FOR IT....  (Drum Roll Please)  The results are 
in, and Germany has soundly defeated Sweden 2-0, with Lukas Podolski scoring 
a brace (that means two) for the German side.  Also, Argentina defeated a 
determined Mexican squad 2-1, after a OT (that means overtime) goal from the 
youngster Maxi Rodriguez.  The Mexicans took an early lead in the 5th 
minute, but Hernan Crespo scored a few minutes later, and Maxi was able to 
secure the win with a brilliant strike from outside the box.  Germany will 
face Argentina in the next round in Berlin, which promises to be the best 
match of the tournament to date.
