Dicks knows this; he is just trying to distract us, hoping that we
will forget these fateful words:

And:

It won't work, Dick.  The ruse was clever: you thought to yourself,
"if I post new incendiary comments that make me look like an idiot,
everyone will forget about my previous incendiary comments that made
me look like an idiot!"
