In my previous posting, I asked this:

"As a member of an already stigmatized population, does the risk of further
stigmatization cause the same degree of fear and trembling as it does
to a member of the greater society?

My implied answer was "no," but I would like to add this question:

Would the extra stigmatization cause (in the heart of the pariah) the
same amount of self-loathing?
