Joe,

Be careful you don't make the same mistake Wayne Fox made about me. Taro Tanaka might actually be a real person, not just a psuedonym (like "J Ford"). Just because you have never heard of someone doesn't mean they are nameless and faceless.

Take care,

D

Do the comments below apply to nameless, faceless people in general? People like yourself, for instance? Is the point that we should not pay attention to the words of nameless, faceless people?

I'll let you conclude the inference.

What's in a name?

Mr. Metzler assures us that "a pastor writes in." A pastor without a name, a
face, or a place, making a public comment on Doug Wilson's character, or
rather his lack of character. Actually, I am rather surprised that only one
such nameless, faceless, placeless pastor has written in. One would have
thought that there must be literally millions, if not billiions, of such
nameless, faceless, placeless pastors out there. But this one nameless
faceless placeless pastor is enough to speak for all of them. After all,
this is cyberspace, where Truth is first disembodied and then disemboweled.
The post's last sentence speaks volumes -- far more than Mr. Metzler himself
realizes:

'"I am a pastor." No, no, he’s not. He’s really not. But no sense arguing
with the man.'
