All hail the King!
King Felix pitched the first complete game of his young career, leading the Mariners to a 6-2 victory over the Angels. He gave up two runs, struck out 9, and didn't give up a walk.
Jose Lopez (for whom you should all be voting to start second base in the All-Star game) led the offensive charge, going 3-5 on the day. Ichiro extended his hitting streak to 12 games. Jeremy Reed and Raul Ibanez both belted homeruns.
The M's have now won 9 of their last 11.
Take care,
D

Perhaps you are correct, Tushi -
Perhaps one need not be a "true" pastor to establish a "flock".
Yet not all of the un-pastor-ized can list among their "accomplishments",
the ever-increasing credits associated with Doug The Unpastorized and

Footnote: Concerning your "disemboweled" problem, I would have that look at
if I were you.

What's in a name?
Mr. Metzler assures us that "a pastor writes in." A pastor without a name, a
face, or a place, making a public comment on Doug Wilson's character, or
rather his lack of character. Actually, I am rather surprised that only one
such nameless, faceless, placeless pastor has written in. One would have
thought that there must be literally millions, if not billiions, of such
nameless, faceless, placeless pastors out there. But this one nameless
faceless placeless pastor is enough to speak for all of them. After all,
this is cyberspace, where Truth is first disembodied and then disemboweled.
The post's last sentence speaks volumes -- far more than Mr. Metzler himself
realizes:
'"I am a pastor." No, no, hes not. Hes really not. But no sense arguing
with the man.'
