I am sorry that the diversity of views expressed on this list has upset  you. 
 Freedom of speech was not meant to protect popular speech that the  majority 
find palatable.  The first amendment  was intended  specifically to protect 
UNPOPULAR speech.  While, as Sunil has cogently  pointed out, you certainly 
have the right to consider only those views with  which you agree,  I believe 
that your intellectual growth would be better  served if you attempted to 
understand the views and concerns of those with whom  you disagree.
 
Our diversity is our strength, BL, don't fall for the temptation to shun  
those who are different from you.
