Thanks for the links.  I would expect the number of heterosexual transmissions to exceed homosexual for the obvious reason that heterosexuals far outnumber homosexuals as a percentage of the population.  Do you not acknowledge that the absorptive nature of the colon as opposed to the female's anatomy would inevitably result in a greater risk of transmission all numbers being equal?  The colon's job, of course, is to absorb nutrients from the food we eat directly INTO THE BLOODSTREAM.  To inject, as it were, a virus into such an environment is to roll out the red carpet for infection.

If I am missing something here, I would welcome additional information.

  You are a little off-track here.  Worldwide, heterosexual contact is the leading sexual (as opposed to non-sexual) transmission method of HIV.

      The human body was obviously NOT DESIGNED to be employed in this manner.  Therefore, when one engages in such activities, one deliberately risks his life and the life of his "partner".  If our society genuinely cared for the welfare of homosexuals, it would strongly advise them to discontinue such unnatural and unhealthy behaviors, just as it advises against the sharing of needles.

      There are clearly victims involved in situations of adultery, rape, cheating, and stealing.  Not so with homosexuality.  Are you really unable to see the difference between consenual adult activity and scenarios of someone viciously hurting someone else?
