Thank you, Mr. Ivie.
Although, I am familiar with the council's discussion concerning the
intersection of D Street and Mountain View (after having watched the session
on television), I feel that my input would not add credence to either side
of the argument. My many ventures in the past few years have placed me in
its vicinity maybe two or three times.
However, I would be interested in "listening in" to the discussion as it
evolves here on V2020.
How about it, Moscow? Let's pass the soap box to some people with knowledge
concerning this issue.
Thanks again, Mr. Ivie, for clearing the air.

safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, chocolate in one hand, a drink in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO. What a ride!'"

Subject: RE: [Vision2020] The pledge Controversy/more pressing concerns
I think J hit the nail square on the head with this one. There ARE more
pressing things going on in Moscow. The Council and Mayor do a heck of a
lot more than just recite pledges and most of it we never hear about. The D
and Mt. View issue is an excellent case in point. That insightful
discussion by City Council at the previous Council meeting has led to that
intersection being added to the agenda for the Public Works Finance
Committee. Something proactive and possitive will likely come from it,
which is more than I can say about this pledge discussion. -Tom
