Have wolves been sighted in Latah County? Aren't they in the Lolo area?

I'm guessing a black bear would approach a farm or a house as a forager, looking for fruits and berries or garbage, rather that as a predator, looking to kill livestock or pets, right?
Is all of this wildlife deterred by leaving on a light at night? How about by dogs?
