[Vision2020] Girls Sports at Logos

Hate to burst your bubble - well, ok NO I DON'T. The parents and students
were told by the school admin (i.e. Dougie-BOY) that a "re-evaluation of the
need and wisdom of girls being involved in sports" was done and the
conclusion was that there really is no need for the girls to have a
"separate sports program." The P.E. course will continue as they do need
some exercise but the extra sweat sessions would be cut.

It was the official letter that went out to the other schools in the league
they were in that states there was not enough players

And by all appearances, they had plenty of girls on the bench during the
games they were allowed to play at the beginning of the season. The girls
have been rather consistent in their ability to win not only games but
tournaments, play-offs, etc. The boys have not been as consistent in that
area, so mayhap that is what Doug F is referring to when he says "they may
want to play catch-up". Can't have the girls outshining the boys, after
all, now can we.

Doug's statements, (contrary to his protestations of not being the
unofficial mouth-piece) speak volumes and I think I'll leave them stand as
presented...not eloquently were they done, mind you - but he did present
them.
