[Vision2020] New Subject (graffitti)

Matt, that's terrible! I think people are beginning to see that however
wonderful Latah County is -- and I intend to live here, happily, until I die
-- it's not some idyllic paradise insulated from the woes of the real world.
The real world IS here, and not much will change until people acknowledge
that crime and poverty are here in abundance. The meth problem is under
recognized, I believe, by a lot of people whose world is fairly confined,
and there is significant poverty throughout the county that is largely
dismissed by people.

I hope all of these people -- the druggies, vandals, thugs, and such -- get
the help they need, and that all of us, their victims especially, get
justice.

And thanks to the PD and the sheriff's office for all of their work,

keely

About a month ago I was playing my weekly poker game with some buds over by
the Junior High. We came out of the garage where the game was being held
only to find a bullet hole through the living room window. After a quick call
to the police and a couple of prozacs we managed to calm down. when the cops
came and they did some investigating we all noticed five more holes. THESE
PUNKS shot 6 .22 caliber rounds into the house. Luckily we were in the
garage. Why my friends house, I don't know. The only thing we could think of
is the Meth house next door.

The point of the story is crime is becoming more aggressive here in the cow.
Maybe small teenabe gangs or increase of drugs. Regardless, lets hope that
these matters get taking of promptly.

Matt
